PartnerRe brings appoints ex-Hannover Re L&H expert Niall Mulvey for C-suite
Bermuda-headquartered PartnerRe has tapped former Hannover Re executive Niall Mulvey (pictured) to strengthen its life and health (L&H) underwriting operations from the C-suite.
Mulvey has joined the executive leadership team as chief underwriting officer, L&H.
Mulvey previously served Hannover Re, where he spent 15 years, most recently as head of L&H for Greater China.
Prior to that, he served as principal business lead for L&H Asia after roles as head of actuarial function L&H, financial reporting actuary and US portfolio actuary.
In a LinkedIn announcement, Phillippe Meyenhofer, CEO of PartnerRe, said: “I am delighted to announce that Niall Mulvey has joined PartnerRe as chief underwriting officer, life & health. With more than 25 years of life & health experience and deep expertise in actuarial and financial management, Niall brings valuable insight and leadership to the team.”
