RenRe names new corporate treasurer

RenaissanceRe Holdings has promoted Matthew Neuber, the senior vice president for ventures and corporate finance, to the position of corporate treasurer.

Neuber succeeds Aditya Dutt, president of Renaissance Underwriting Managers and senior vice president of ventures. Dutt continues to have responsibility for managing RenaissanceRe’s ventures business, corporate development and mergers and acquisitions.

Neuber joined RenaissanceRe’s ventures unit in 2014. In his new role he reports to Robert Qutub, RenRe’s chief financial officer.

“Since he assumed the responsibility of corporate treasurer in 2017, Aditya has advanced our treasury capabilities significantly,” said Kevin O’Donnell, CEO. “As a vital member of our executive team, he will continue growing our industry-leading Ventures business and leading corporate development for the company.”

Qutub said Neuber’s appointment was the natural extension of his responsibilities. “He has deep knowledge of our capital structure and strong background in corporate finance, which will help us to manage our increasingly global organisation,” he said.

The appointment is subject to Bermuda Immigration approval.
