Marsh has made two senior leadership appointments within its property and financial and professional liability (FINPRO) practices in New York.
Michael Rouse becomes head of its US property practice, effective immediately. Rouse has more than 20 years of property insurance experience, most recently as Marsh’s US property placement leader. He succeeds Duncan Ellis, who has left the firm, and reports to Martin South, president of Marsh in the US and Canada.
Meanwhile Michelle Sartain has been named FINPRO practice leader for the US and Canada. Sartain was most recently head of US sales at Marsh and has more than 20 years of experience. Sartain reports to Pat Donnelly, Marsh JLT specialty leader for the US and Canada, and succeeds Devin Beresheim, who has left the firm.
Both Rouse and Sartain join Marsh’s US executive committee.
South said the new appointments would ensure Marsh continues to “provide clients with unrivaled data, analytics, and risk transfer solutions that allow them to anticipate, model, and manage the threats facing their businesses.”
