The president and chief operating officer of James River Group Holdings has announced his retirement, after more than 11 years with the company.
Robert (Bob) Myron will step down from his role on July 31, 2021 for health reasons related to lingering effects of Lyme Disease. He is expected to retain a consulting relationship with James River until the end of the year.
Myron formerly held the role of CEO at James River and is a member of its board.
Frank D’Orazio, James River’s chief executive officer, said: “Throughout his distinguished tenure at James River, Bob has demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication to the organisation, and the foundation he has laid will remain a key factor in our continued success.”
Myron added: “The company is in great hands under Frank’s strong leadership and the capabilities of the senior management team. Going forward, I have every confidence in James River’s ability to flourish in the markets it serves and continue to build long term value.”
