Hamilton replaces CFO as Ursano leaves to launch insurtech advisory business
Hamilton Insurance Group has named Craig Howie as its group chief financial officer (CFO).
He replaces Tony Ursano who will leave Hamilton in mid-July to set up an insurance and insurtech advisory business.
Howie spent the last nine years at Everest Re Group where he was executive vice president and CFO. Before that he spent over 23 years at Munich Re America, holding a number of senior finance positions. He started his career in public accounting with EY.
Howie will take up his new post on July 1, 2021 and will report to group chief executive officer, Pina Albo.
Albo said: “Craig is an experienced and highly respected industry professional who will transition seamlessly into his new role. Having worked with Craig in the past, I know he will be a valuable addition to the Hamilton team.”
