Everest strengthens inland marine practice

Everest Insurance has hired Michelle Sipple as vice president and head of inland marine.

Sipple joins from American International Group (AIG) where she was senior vice president and global head of inland marine, overseeing all underwriting and operational elements of that business. She has more than 25 years of industry experience and has held senior leadership and underwriting management positions at Chubb, Lexington Insurance Company, Prosight Specialty Insurance and Fireman’s Fund.

She is based in Liberty Corner, New Jersey.

Erik Nikodem, head of property and inland marine at Everest, said Sipple’s vast industry experience and strategic leadership will elevate the inland marine practice. “She joins a team with the highest caliber of industry talent,” he added.
