Everest promotes Robert Clark to head of Everest Specialty Underwriters

Everest Insurance has named Robert Clark as senior vice president and head of Everest Specialty Underwriters (ESU).

Clark joined Everest in October 2015 as vice president and head of alternative solutions, which includes transactional liability and private equity.

In his new role he assumes responsibility for managing ESU business segments, including financial and professional lines, alternative solutions, political risk and trade credit and surety, and driving growth across the business.

Clark remains in the New York office and reports to Mike Karmilowicz, president and chief executive of Everest Insurance.

Karmilowicz said Clark’s’“leadership, diverse skillset, experience managing international teams and background in both the financial lines and credit sectors make him an ideal candidate for this position.”
