Ed recruits Robert Sharp as head of casualty treaty

Ed, the global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker, has appointed Robert Sharp as head of casualty treaty, divisional director.

Sharp is based in London and reports to Heather Clarkson, divisional chief executive for specialty.

Sharp has spent 13 years as a reinsurance broker and joins from Aon where he was most recently an account executive in the reinsurance solutions team, predominantly focusing on the global casualty treaty reinsurance market.

Clarkson said: “Reinsurance remains an integral area of growth for Ed and it is vital that we attract and invest in the best industry talent.”
