AXA XL appoints Renato Rodrigues as country manager for Canada

AXA XL has appointed Renato Rodrigues as country manager for Canada. Rodrigues previously led AXA XL’s Latin American insurance business and has also served as country manager for Brazil. He assumes his new duties immediately, taking over from interim country manager, Glen Hopkinson.

Once COVID-19 travel restrictions allow, Rodrigues will relocate to Toronto  from Sao Paulo.

Joe Tocco, chief executive officer for the Americas, highlighted Rodrigues’ “extensive experience leading international commercial insurance across the Americas.”
