Aon poaches PartnerRe exec to bolster its US managed care reinsurance practice

Aon has poached an exec for its managed care team, within its US reinsurance solutions business, from PartnerRe.

Tasha Barbour has joined the managed care team in Kansas City, Missouri, as managing director, to focus on new business development. She brings innovative reinsurance and stop-loss solutions to support a variety of managed care organisations nationally.

At PartnerRe Barbour was chief business development and marketing officer. She has also worked at Swiss Re, GE Insurance and KPMG.

In her new role Barbour supports Aon’s evolving healthcare market opportunities, such as those focused on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) innovation programmes. She reports to Christina Mendez, Aon’s national managed care reinsurance practice leader.
