XL expands financial lines team with LatAm underwriting hire
XL Group has announced the appointment of Ana Dores as senior professional indemnity underwriter for Iberia and Latin America.
The hire comes as part of XL’s growth strategy whereby it aims to expand its financial lines team across Europe and Latin America, due to increased need for professional indemnity insurance cover in today’s rapidly changing and complex business world.
Dores is based in Madrid and reports to Javier Ybarra, financial lines regional underwriting manager for Iberia and Latin America.

Dores started her career as a financial lines underwriter, covering a wide range of products, including D&O and PI. Before joining XL Group she was at AIG and Liberty International Underwriters.
