XL Board will see shake-up at 2014 meeting

Anne Stevens-- and international businesswoman with extensive experience in the automotive, aerospace and oil sectors--is nominated for election to the XL Group board of directors.  Herbert Haag, who has served on the board since 2006, will not be standing for re-election at the 2014 general meeting.

Stevens spent the majority of her career at Ford Motor Company, most recently as COO for the Americas. She currently serves as CEO and principal of SA IT Services.

Robert Glauber, XL’s chairman, says: “we look forward to Anne’s many contributions. I believe that Anne’s diverse global business experience will complement the existing expertise of the Board and benefit XL as it continues to execute its strategy.”

He continues: “we are most grateful to Herbert for his excellent service to XL. His contributions have been most significant, and he will be missed.”
