White Mountains Solutions to acquire AIG subsidiary

White Mountains Solutions Holding Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bermuda-domiciled White Mountains Insurance Group and the group’s specialist runoff acquisition operator, has entered into a definitive acquisition agreement with a small runoff subsidiary of AIG. The transaction, which will see White Mountains take control of American Fuji Fire and Marine Insurance Company, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2013.
