Torus rebrands; reveals new logo

Torus, an insurer with operations on Bermuda, has rebranded as StarStone.

Additionally, the company has revealed a new logo and brand identity.

The holding company name has changed to StarStone Insurance.

Its six insurance platforms, as well as its other group companies, are in the process of being renamed to incorporate the StarStone brand. The process is expected to be completed in January 2016.

Nick Packer, chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of StarStone, said:  “Together with our major shareholders, Enstar Group and Stone Point Capital, we are excited to announce our rebranding to StarStone.

“Since our change in ownership in April 2014, we have made significant progress by strengthening our management team and reorganising areas of our business. This was recognised by AM Best when reaffirming our A- rating. As part of that journey the time is right to launch a new brand that signals our shareholders’ continuing commitment and best reflects who we are today.

“We are committed to delivering the same high levels of service to our clients with a new brand that underlines our position within Enstar Group and the strength of our combined partnership.”
