TigerRisk Partners, the risk, capital and strategic advisor to the global re/insurance industry, has hired a new partner in its global trade credit, surety and political risk (TCSPR) business.
James Loggie will take up his post in 2022 after completing his notice period at Willis Re, where he heads up the TCSPR business. He will be based in London.
Loggie has more than two decades of experience in credit, surety and political risk, having started his career at Euler Hermes before moving to Atradius and then AIG in 2004, where he was senior underwriter. He joined Guy Carpenter in 2009 as vice president, before spending over ten years at Willis Re, first as an executive director of international credit, surety and political risk, and then as a senior director in 2019.
The news follows TigerRisk’s recent entry into the specialised class, and the hiring of Aon’s head of TCSPR, Phil Bonner.
Rod Fox, chief executive officer (CEO) of TigerRisk Partners, said the calibre of its recent hires confirms its dedication to the TCSPR business.
“TigerRisk is expanding an exciting global division designed to complement our strong growth strategy into specialty lines and capitalise on a dynamic competitive landscape,” he said.
James Few, CEO of TigerRisk Partners (UK), highlighted Loggie’s knowledge and relationships, adding: “We have sent a clear message to the market that TigerRisk is expanding a market-leading platform.”
