Sompo offers cyber policyholders free email security protection

Sompo International Holdings, the specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, is offering all eligible cyber policyholders in the US complimentary cyber risk management services for email security protection.

Sompo has partnered with SecurIT360, a full-service security consulting firm, and The Crypsis Group, a cyber risk management firm, to provide this service. Sompo said it was the first of its kind offered in the insurance industry.

Qualifying Sompo cyber clients can access and engage cyber consultants from SecurIT360, which will perform customised reviews of current email security configurations and protocols. Each live consultation will include best practice recommendations, following the Center for Internet Security guidelines and other relevant standards, for a full range of security and deployment processes.
