PartnerRe replaces life and health CEO

PartnerRe has hired a CEO for its life and health unit, replacing Marvin Pestcoe, who will continue as a member of PartnerRe’s executive management group as chief risk and actuarial officer.

Marc Archambault will be based in the Bermuda-based reinsurer’s Zurich office, where he will report to Emmanuel Clarke, president and CEO of PartnerRe.

As the new CEO and a member executive management team, Archambault will be responsible for expanding PartnerRe’s business and franchise in all markets.

Archambault joins PartnerRe from SCOR global life, where he led company’s regional market as CEO of Asia-Pacific.

He served SCOR for 26 years as a member of its senior management, leading its growth strategies and product development initiatives across international markets.
