Ironshore Canada has appointed Andrew Stewart as senior associate within its M&A insurance division, while David Tran has been promoted to vice president within IronPro’s Canadian division.
Stewart comes from a legal background having worked as a corporate associate at Osler, Hoskin and Harcourt, specialising in M&A, corporate finance and securities law.
Tran has risen through the ranks of IronPro and has been instrumental in building its capabilities in Canada.
Ironshore’s M&A product suite includes cross-border transaction protection, buyer and seller insurance, and warranties and tax indemnity coverage for Canadian-based clients, with limits of up to CAN$60 million per transaction.
