Hiscox bolsters D&O business with underwriting hire

Anglo Bermudan specialist insurer Hiscox has appointed Steven Pearsall as D&O line underwriter in its London Market business.

Pearsall has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance market including underwriting roles for AIG and, most recently, The Hartford where he was head of financial lines within its London market division. He has significant experience managing D&O, financial institutions, professional indemnity and reps and warranties business.

At Hiscox, Pearsall will be responsible for leading a team of five underwriters writing Hiscox’s D&O book.  Based in London, he will focus on US risks and select international D&O.
