Hiscox appoints UK claims head

Bermuda-based Hiscox has appointed Eva Berg-Winters as head of its UK claims team.

Berg-Winters joins the firm from strategy consultants OC&C, where she was an associate partner. She previously worked at McKinsey & Company, Deutsche Telekom, and PwC Strategy.

Jeremy Pinchin, Hiscox’s group claims director, said: “Eva is an important hire for us. Claims sit at the very heart of our business, and Eva’s broad business background and focus on digital and innovation will bring a new dynamic to the team.”
