Tropical Storm Franklin is continuing to move into the Atlantic and is being carefully monitored in Bermuda.
The storm was 692 miles south of Bermuda moving east-northeast at 6mph. the storm is expected to move to the northwest and strengthen to a category 1 storm on Saturday and is expected to become a category 2 storm by Monday morning.
It has been classed as a potential threat to Bermuda.
Its closest point of approach to Bermuda within the next 72 hours was forecast to be 319 miles southwest of Bermuda at 6am on Monday. However, it is expected to move further north and closer to Bermuda over Monday while also moving faster.
