Neil McConachie, the chief financial officer (CFO) of start-up Fidelis Insurance, has resigned from Third Point Re’s board of directors.
Fidelis Insurance is the latest re/insurer to call Bermuda home, after raising $1.5 billion of capital and securing and A- (Excellent) rating from AM Best.
McConachie joined the board of Third Point Re in 2013 and during his tenure has served as the chairman of the governance and nominating committee and as a member of the compensation and risk committees.
"Neil has been a valuable director throughout his tenure on the board, and we appreciate his many contributions and dedicated service to the company. We wish him all the best as he pursues a new opportunity with Fidelis," said John Berger, chief executive officer and chairman of the board.
