Fidelis bolsters London underwriting team with Zurich hire

Bermuda-based specialty re/insurer Fidelis Insurance has appointed Alison Clarke as senior underwriter of its London underwriting team, effective April 3.

In this role, Clarke will focus on growing the group's product offering, as well as assuming management responsibilities within the London underwriting team.

Clarke has 20 years of experience and has worked in several sector of the energy and marine market, including downstream, upstream and construction. She joins from Zurich Insurance, where she was head of offshore energy.

During the last two years, Clarke has also been an active member of the Lloyd's Market Authority Joint Rig Committee for Offshore Energy, liaising with industry leaders and practitioners.
