Everest Re appoints new investor relations head

Everest Re Group has announced that Jon Levenson has joined the company as head of investor relations.

Levenson will be responsible for investor relations and rating agency relationships and will report to chief financial officer Craig Howie.

“As Everest’s business diversification and strategy continue to progress we are excited to have someone with Jon’s experience, background and longstanding relationships join the Everest team,” said Howie.

Levenson joins Everest from Validus Holdings, where he previously held positions of group treasurer and head of investor relations.  He holds both BA and MBA degrees from Duke University.
