Bermuda-based Endurance has reshuffled its team following the departure of Peter Mills, its chief underwriting officer (CUO).
Endurance confirmed that it will not name a direct replacement for Mills, who also served as head of global specialty and Europe P&C.
Switzerland-based Mills joined Endurance in 2013 from Tokio Millennium Re where he was served as strategic underwriting officer.
On the specialty side of the business, Christoph Virchow and Adrian Poxon will act as co-heads of Endurance’s global specialty business.
Virchow joined Endurance in November 2012 as head of global trade credit and surety and assumes the role while retaining his underwriting responsibilities.
Poxon joined Endurance in August 2014 as head of global marine and energy and also assumes the role while retaining his underwriting responsibilities.
Additionally, Stefan Beine, formerly head of European property catastrophe business becomes head of Europe property, casualty and catastrophe reinsurance.
