BMA licenses six re/insurance entities in June

The Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) registered six new re/insurance entities in June.

It takes the full number of BMA registrations for 2021 to 39, of which eight were intermediaries.

June saw the BMA register two restricted special purpose insurers and one class 3B, large commercial insurer. It also registered two agents and one class 1, single parent captive, the first licence of this type to be handed out so far in 2021.
