AXIS Capital brings on former Hartford senior exec to board

Bermuda-based AXIS Capital has appointed Lizabeth Zlatkus to its board of directors, effective March 15.

Zlatkus has an extensive background in finance, risk and operations, as well as audit, compensation and board governance.

She has held a number of senior management positions  at The Hartford Financial Services Group during her 28-year tenure there, including as chief financial officer and chief risk officer.

Zlatkus retired from The Hartford in 2011, and currently sits on the boards of Boston Private Financial Holdings, and Indivior.
