AXA XL hires former Markel exec as global DEI head

AXA XL has appointed Trevor Gandy as global head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Gandy will also be part of the HR Leadership Team and will lead the company’s DEI strategy.

Gandy has over 25 years of experience within human resources. His most recent role was managing director, Talent, Diversity, and Inclusion, at Markel. Prior to that, he was principal, Diversity, and Inclusion at Amazon, and held numerous leadership positions at Chubb over a career spanning 20 years.
