Aspen appoints head of Data & Analytics
Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer, Aspen Insurance Group, has appointed Tony Bishop as group head of Data & Analytics.
According to Bishop’s LinkedIn page, he joins the company from Swiss Re, where he most recently served as head of Data Office for the Swiss Re Corporate Solutions unit, based in London.
Bishop said: “I am excited to join such a talented organisation at the start of our journey to better utilise data and tech for more informed decision making from every seat and to create a more engaging client experience based on a foundation of intelligent, analytical services and insights.”
Bishop joined Swiss Re in 2003 as director Swiss Re Life Capital–IT, was then a client delivery manager and enterprise architect for Questus Solutions for one year, in 2014, and then re-joined Swiss Re in 2015. His roles there also included senior consultant for Architecture & Design and Information Integration architect.
