ARIS Title Insurance makes COO hire

Dr. Bodo Sartorius will join ARIS Title Insurance Corporation, a member of Argo International Holdings, as chief operating officer and senior EU executive. He joins from AXA ART, where he served as COO for over a decade. Sartorius, who will be based out of ARIS’s Zurich office, will help to oversee both US and international operations and assume day-to-day management of market initiatives in the EU.

ARIS chairman Lawrence M. Shindell said: “Dr. Sartorius joins us with a wealth of knowledge, experience and respected relationships throughout the international art industry. We continue to develop the title insurance market for the global art and collectables industry, particularly in the institutional commercial, financial services and alternative asset investment fund sectors. Having Dr. Sartorius on the ARIS team will assist in these growth efforts as well as in strengthening our symbiotic relationship with the fine art property insurance market.”
