Argo appoints Kirk as CFO

Argo Group International Holdings has appointed Scott Kirk as chief financial officer.

Kirk will take up his post on March 1, 2021, having joined the company on February 8, 2021, and succeeds Jay Bullock as principal financial officer and principal accounting officer.

Bullock will remain with Argo as an advisor through March 31, 2021, to ensure a smooth transition.

Kirk was previously at Aspen Insurance Holdings from 2007 and most recently served as group chief financial officer from 2014 until April 2020. Before Aspen he worked at Endurance Specialty Holdings between 2002 and 2007, holding several senior finance roles, and at Trenwick International in London, in finance and treasury roles.

Kirk began his career as an auditor at KPMG in Brisbane and is a member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants in both England and Wales and Australia.
