Arch makes two C Suite promotions as COO moves into advisory role

Arch Insurance International has promoted Kirsten Valder to the role of chief administrative officer and Jason Kittinger to chief operating officer (COO).

Dennis Brand, who currently serves as COO at Arch Insurance International, will step back from the position but will remain with the company in an advisory role. Brand has been with Arch for 17 years and has over 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry.

Valder has served as chief claims officer since 2015. Before joining Arch she was a partner at Kennedys Law. Kittinger serves as chief financial officer (CFO) and joined Arch in 2006. Both promotions take effect from June 30, 2021.

Valder assumes responsibility for claims, legal, human resources, compliance and risk, while Kittinger, who will retain his responsibilities as CFO, will oversee finance, operations, facilities and procurement.
