Appleby has hired Kit Cunningham and John Small to its corporate department in Bermuda.
Cunningham joins as an associate, practicing insurance as well as all other areas of corporate and commercial law, including finance, public and private M&A, digital asset business and technology, intellectual property, and aviation. He was called to the Bermuda Bar in November 2016 and is a member of the Bermuda Bar Association Intellectual Property Committee.
Small joins as an associate, practicing in all areas of corporate, commercial and regulatory insurance law. He was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2016 and in the Republic of Ireland in 2017, and was formerly at M&G Prudential (later M&G PLC) where his focus was on treaty reinsurance, inter-European portfolio transfers and bulk with-profits annuity schemes.
