Allison Kiene named as general counsel at Argo

Argo Group International Holdings has appointed Allison Kiene as general counsel. She takes over responsibility for Argo’s legal and compliance teams and reports to Kevin Rehnberg, Argo’s chief executive officer.

Kiene, who also joins the executive committee, takes over from Susan Comparato who moves into a new role leading Argo’s programmes, transportation and alternative risk solutions businesses.

Kiene joins from Sompo International Holdings where she served as assistant general counsel, chief compliance officer and data protection officer. She held similar roles with increasing responsibility at Montpelier Re Holdings, Blue Capital Management and Familymeds Group.
