ACE hires senior exec from Marsh

ACE has announced it will appoint Paul Wilderspin, formerly of Marsh, as client relationship manager for the UK and Ireland.

Wilderspin will be responsible for driving ACE’s customer service proposition and ensuring that the group’s client relationship management programme delivers quality of service to clients that matches ACE’s underwriting capability.

With over 13 years’ insurance experience, Wilderspin joins ACE from Marsh where he was senior vice president in their risk management practice. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at AXA Corporate Solutions as head of UK key account and broker development management.

He will report to Nick Lee, head of client relationship management, UK & Ireland, and will work closely with the other members of ACE’s client management team, namely Shaun Edwards (global client executive), and Louise Joyce (client relationship manager, UK & Ireland regions).
