Hamilton replaces CEO of its E&S carrier

Hamilton Insurance Group has appointed a new CEO of Hamilton Select, its US excess and surplus (E&S) lines insurer.

Anita Kuchma will report to group CEO Pina Albo and replaces Clay Rhoades who was appointed CEO in February 2022 and is “no longer with the organisation”.

Kuchma has over 35 years of specialty insurance and reinsurance industry experience, having spent the past 16 years in numerous underwriting, financial, strategic and operational roles of increasing seniority at Munich Re America.

“Having worked with Anita in the past, I am pleased to welcome her to Hamilton’s Executive Team,” said Albo. “The breadth and depth of her know-how and expertise, as well as her proven leadership, will prove instrumental as we continue to build out Hamilton Select, a key pillar of the company’s strategy, at this exciting time in the market.”
