
Fidelis Partnership promotes Hengesbaugh and Tomlinson in Bermuda treaty shake-up
The Fidelis Partnership has restructured its Bermuda treaty leadership, naming Paget Hengesbaugh head of international treaty and Drew Tomlinson head of US treaty.
Hengesbaugh has been with TFP for five years, having joined from Renaissance Re, while Tomlinson has been with TFP since 2023 and previously held roles at OdysseyRe and Penn National Insurance.
Will Abbott becomes head of complex risks and specialty treaty. Abbott previously held roles at Howden Re, Guy Carpenter and Willis Re.
And Jack Jarvis becomes head of global clients, having joined TFP in 2024 from Canopius.
The quartet will report to deputy group CUO Richard Coulson, while also working closely with group CEO and chairman Richard Brindle.
Alongside this, TFP has made a brace of promotions in property, energy and construction team.
Mark Herget, who has been with the business for more than six years, will be promoted to deputy group head of property, energy and construction and join TFP’s group executive committee, taking on a more senior role in the group’s management.
Danny Mereu will join the Bermuda office on January 1 2026, transferring from London to take on a new role as group head of property underwriting analytics and pricing. Mereu will complement Dennis Brauchle, who recently joined TFP as head of property treaty & portfolio analytics, having previously been deputy CRO and head of P&C actuarial at Hannover Re Bermuda.
