Everest Insurance hires AIG’s Steve Reiss to lead Northeast region

Steve Reiss (pictured) has joined Everest Insurance as US Northeast regional executive, moving from his role as AIG’s president of the Northeast zone.

The Bermuda-based insurer said Reiss will oversee performance and service across the Northeast region, reporting to Craig Hanrahan, head of field operations insurance, in New York.

Reiss brings more than 30 years of underwriting and broking experience. At AIG, he led client and broker engagement strategies in the Northeast. He previously served as corporate risk & broking leader for WTW’s Northeast region and held senior roles at Chubb and Marsh.

Hanrahan said: “Steve’s trusted leadership, deep broker and client relationships, and proven track record of delivering exceptional service make him an excellent addition to our US retail field operations team. His leadership across the Northeast region will further strengthen our strategy and enhance the superior service we provide to our retail clients and broker partners.”
