Ariel Re promotes Shreeve to chief commercial officer to drive growth strategy

Ariel Re has promoted Bermuda-based Tim Shreeve to chief commercial officer as the reinsurer looks to identify emerging opportunities and support the development of new initiatives across its business.

Shreeve  has been promoted to the role after serving as head of platform development since joining the company in 2021.

As chief commercial officer, Shreeve will work with clients, brokers and colleagues to identify emerging opportunities, assess their strategic and commercial potential, and support the development of new initiatives.

Chief executive Ryan Mather said Shreeve had made a significant contribution to Ariel Re’s success since joining the business and that his promotion reflected his leadership and commercial insight.

Mather added that Shreeve would continue to play an important role as the company pursues its strategic growth ambitions.
