Arch expands professional liability team

Arch Insurance International has appointed Patrizia Barattini as senior professional liability underwriter. Barattini will be responsible for delivering insurance solutions across a broad range of clients and territories. Based in London, she will report to Austen Barnes, underwriting manager for professional liability.

Barnes said: “At Arch, we are continually seeking opportunities to develop our professional liability portfolio. Patrizia brings considerable expertise across professions and territories not currently within our book of business and will be key to our efforts to expand into new areas, while bolstering our standing in our existing sectors.”

Barattini brings over 10 years of experience in the professional liability arena, operating across both international and European accounts. She joins from Markel International where she was most recently an underwriter within its professional liability team.
