Allied World appoints North America president

Allied World appoints Lou Iglesias as president of Allied World North America, with a responsibility for property and casualty and professional lines.

Iglesias will oversee “profitability, production and distribution” across all lines of business, Allied World say. He takes over from Gordon Knight, who will stay on in a consultancy capacity.

Iglesias previously spent eighteen years working at AIG.
