Everest hires four E&S casualty excess underwriters
Everest Insurance has added four new underwriters to its excess and surplus casualty excess group.
Kelly Doyle joins Everest as a senior underwriter in Chicago. She was most recently at Allianz Global and Corporate Specialty as a corporate accounts liability underwriting specialist. She has also worked as a senior underwriter at StarStone/ Enstar Group in Chicago, and held underwriting positions at Markel, AonBenfield, Willis Towers Watson and THB Intermediaries.
Christopher Marino also joins as a senior underwriter, splitting his time between the New Jersey and New York offices. Marino was previously an excess casualty underwriter at Crum and Forster, and before which he spent ten years in a variety of positions at AIG.
Mark Thompson becomes an underwriter in the Los Angeles office. Thompson was previously an account executive at CoverX Specialty, underwriting excess and specialty insurance accounts. He also worked as a commercial underwriter for Crum and Forster.
Finally, Sean McPhillips has been named an associate underwriter in New York. He joins from RT Specialty where he was a broker assistant.
