XL appoints Bermuda-based excess casualty underwriting manager

XL Group’s Bermuda insurance operations announced the appointment of Rebecca Dupré as senior vice president, underwriting manager, excess casualty.

Dupré has 25 years of excess casualty experience. Her role will include overseeing the management and development of XL Group’s Bermuda Insurance general liability portfolio while strengthening relationships with brokers, existing and potential clients.

Carla Greaves, chief excess casualty underwriter, said: “we are pleased to have Rebecca join XL. Her wealth of industry experience, well-established relationships with clients and brokers, and her strong operations and process management skills, will enhance the excess casualty team and allows us to provide greater value to the Bermuda market.”

Dupré holds a master of business administration from the University of New Orleans and worked previously as a senior vice president, casualty underwriting at Chartis Cat Excess Liability.
