Validus Re promotes Andrew Tudor-Thomas to EVP of US property

Validus Re has named Andrew Tudor-Thomas as executive vice president of US property. Tudor-Thomas joined Validus in 2013 as vice president of US property in Bermuda. He will remain in Bermuda, but his appointment is subject to Bermuda immigration approval.

Before joining Validus Re Tudor-Thomas was a US treaty underwriter at Beazley Syndicates in London. He also served in the US wholesale team in Lloyd’s for Guy Carpenter.

Tudor-Thomas will report to Chris Schaper, chief executive officer at Validus Re.
