Validus appoints new VP to Western World subsidiary

Bermuda-based Validus Holdings has appointed Troy Fornof to the position of vice president of underwriting and marketing, contract division at its subsidiary Western World Insurance Company.

Fornof will be based in Parsippany, New Jersey and will work with Tim Hochkeppel, Gary Tiepelman and Rosemary D'Aco to continue the expansion of the contract binding authority business. He brings over 25 years of insurance industry experience to Western World.

Fornof was previously senior vice president and national distribution director at Endurance Insurance. He was also director of branch development and operations at USG Insurance Services and Vice President of CRC Insurance Services.

Given his extensive knowledge of our industry and his clear understanding of what it takes to build and manage a successful operations strategy, we look forward to working with him to further expand our existing distribution network.”
