Sue Ringold and Bill Orendorf join AXIS Re’s North America property team in Bermuda

AXIS Re has hired Sue Ringold and Bill Orendorf, effective immediately.

Ringold joins as a senior underwriter and Orendorf as an underwriter. Both join the North America property team and are based in Bermuda.

Ringold joins AXIS Re from Hiscox Re where she spent more than 10 years, most recently serving as a senior underwriter for property treaty, focused on the North America and Caribbean regions.

Orendorf joins from Guy Carpenter where he was a senior vice president. Before that he held various underwriting roles at Chubb Tempest Reinsurance and Transatlatic Re.

Roman Romeo, head of property, North America – Bermuda, said the two hires add valuable industry experience and perspective to the team.
