RenRe Capital Partners hires Aon ILS executive

RenaissanceRe Capital Partners has snared Roger Beach, the former assistant vice-president of Aon’s ILS unit, as a senior analyst.

Beach supports all aspects of operations, management, business development and transaction execution for all reinsurance joint ventures, including ILS and catastrophe reinsurance, at RenRe’s ILS unit. He reports to Laura Bonanno, vice president.

At Aon he worked on the development, structuring, licensing, and management of natural catastrophe bonds, mortgage bonds, transformers, sidecars, and life insurance securitisations. Before joining Aon in 2018 he worked at life and annuities reinsurance specialist Athene for four years, having started his career with Deloitte in Bermuda and the Caribbean.
