Peak Re hires Andrew Souter as director of markets

Peak Re has appointed Andrew Souter as director of markets, responsible for developing its property and casualty reinsurance business.

Souter will join Peak Re, the Hong Kong-based reinsurer that owns Bermudian ILS asset manager Lutece Holdings, in early November 2020.

Souter has 18 years of experience in the finance industry. He joins Peak Re from Pioneer Underwriters/ Syndicate 1980 where he was head of capital and a member of the executive management team. Before that he spent a decade with Willis Re, where he was concurrently head of the London APAC team and head of ILS practice group for the international division.
