MS Amlin has appointed Charles Goldie as chief underwriting officer.
Goldie brings over thirty years of industry experience to MS Amlin, most recently serving as chief executive officer for P&C at PartnerRe. Goldie will take up his role early in Q1 2021, subject to regulatory approval, and will report to Chris Beazley, chief executive of MS Amlin.
Chris Hayward, who has been acting as interim chief underwriting officer since September 2020, will remain with the business, returning to his previous role as chief underwriting officer of MS Amlin Bermuda.
Beazley Goldie’s insight and experience of managing underwriting portfolios, which he predicted will be critical for MS Amlin’s future growth.
