Liberty Mutual names practice leader for private equity and M&A

Liberty Mutual Insurance has appointed Amy Gross as practice leader for private equity and mergers and acquisitions.

Gross collaborates with teams across Liberty Mutual's global risk solutions (GRS) division, coordinating strategy to enhance growth in the business.

Gross was formerly vice president and division underwriting manager of GRS's national insurance risk management unit and spent more than a decade focused on growing Liberty Mutual's private equity business. She has held a number of commercial underwriting and leadership roles and has spent 15 years at Liberty Mutual, developing solutions for complex large risks.

Marc Orloff, GRS general manager, field distribution at Liberty Mutual, said Liberty Mutual has the products, flexibility, experience and geographic scope to effectively serve this global, cross border business.
